Center for Leading Organizations

Tony Gallo is a professional affiliate with the Center for Leading Organizations and a partner at HawkPartners. Tony specializes in strategy, marketing and planning. For the last 20 years, he has provided counsel to senior executives on many facets of the strategic planning process, including strategy development, brand development and positioning, managing client relationships, and the linkage of data to strategic decision-making.

In addition, Tony is an experienced facilitator and executive educator. His engagements frequently require extensive group facilitation—as part of the planning process, as a platform for creative problem-solving and as a facilitator for leadership development and other organizational change programs. He has facilitated multiple strategic planning sessions with senior management teams, delivered dozens of executive education workshops and programs and led many cross-functional teams through “Work-Out” processes to achieve organizational and strategic efficiencies.

Recently, Tony acted as interim SVP of Strategy and Program Development at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where he was responsible for all strategic, marketing and brand planning activities.

Other strategy and organizational clients include Aetna, Abt Consulting, Catterton Partners, ESPN, IBM, ING, JP Morgan, Magellan’s Inc., Mercy Hospital System, Merrill Lynch and The Joslin Clinic.

Prior to working with The Center for Leading Organizations, Tony spent 10 years as a senior partner at Sherbrooke Partners and 11 years at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman), the last two years as head of their Boston Office.

Tony received a B.A. from Case Western Reserve University in 1977. He is a founding board member of The Jericho Road Project, a social change not-for-profit located in Concord, MA and is currently an adjunct professor at Harvard Extension School.
